Center of 5,000+ sqm in Mumbai with an equivalent disaster
recovery site in Bangalore.
The IDC in Mumbai houses the largest computing power in a
single location in India with 300+ high-end Sunfire servers,
50+ other Servers and necessary network equipment. The servers
in Mumbai deliver approximately 6500 Ghz processing power,
which is expected to grow to 10,000 Ghz. Today, the data centers
provide storage of 95 terabytes on SANs which will be enhanced
to 250 terabytes shortly. The IDC is innovatively engineered
for highest standards of quality, security & reliability.
Reliance has partnered with global technology leaders - Cisco,
Sun, HP, Lucent, Nortel etc. for the data centers. IDC uses
HP openview, Web Trends enterprise and SUN Ray for client
based system monitoring. Remedy suite of products is used
for service desk (help desk) and change management (application
patches, releases, configuration etc).
Reliance will deliver data capabilities to millions of customers
- consumers and corporates. Reliance Infocomm data center
offers customizable solutions, from basic Co-location services
to flexible managed hosting solutions.
